Curiosity killed the cat, right? And lord knows I love my kitties too much so I would never risk a feline life over it…but…but….
But – as I learn things to help the websites I am developing and also to sell a How To Guide that I wrote, I am curious how much my connected friends are using The Google Machine.
Just 5 quick yes/no answers. Please respond and after a few days I’ll share results and also share a tidbit of info on search results that may just freak you out – or might make you go WHOA! COOL!

There’s a book called “The Filter Bubble: What the Internet is Hiding From You” that I have on my reading list and hope to read soon. I heard the author on the radio talking about how Google (and other search engines) skew your search results because the programs are set up to learn about what interests you. For instance, if you happen to be politically conservative, your search results will more than lean in that direction. The problem with this, according to the author, is that means people will not be exposed to varying points of view and as a result will not be given the chance/means to change their minds or learn about how others see things.
