Nothing much

The cat’s favorite place in the morning. In front of a window to the backyard, preferably open. I tried to catch both Chip and Amber on the back of the sofa this morning, but Chip was too fast! Amber is getting big. I need to get her to the vet again and certainly get Chip there to get him checked out and fixed (snip snip big fella!!) Just waiting for DS1 to get back in town and let me know his work schedule for the rest of the month so we can coordinate that with his day off. They have such contrasting personalities! Amber is still a little shit ;-> Chip is more cautious and not as confident in his agility, but he’s a sly one. He has never nipped or put claws out towards us at all, but when he wants attention, he will paw at you, get right up in your face or just plain meow. He is not a lap kitty though. He wants attention on HIS terms which is only a couple of times a day. Amber wants to be on you all the time and she will nip and swipe though not as much as she matures. I really missed these guys while I was gone!!

The front of my new car. Cool color huh? I am highlighting the front to show the little star on the hood. The previous car did not have that. The original one did. I loved that star! I really wanted one on the second one, but with all the after market stuff on it one of the things done was to take off the star and replace it with a flat badge symbol instead. Many people (guys) prefer that, but I didn’t! It was just one of many aspects of that car which made it not feel like “me” or that it was “mine” like the first one did. This one is much better! It is smaller – I cannot believe how much room is in the garage! Also much better on gas as evidenced by a fill up that would have been well over $60 on the previous car and was only $41 on this one. As long as that tank lasts as long as the other I am way ahead of the game! It’s just as fast and handles very well – not like a wagon at all. I love it. MY car again :->

I’ll be catching up from that trip all weekend. Laundry, housecleaning, just feeling generally back in the flow – still need to work on that. Baseball games for DS2 both days. Never ends. I think I am going to take a week off in April during his Spring Break week. I need to turn in a week of time and I usually do take a spring week.

Interesting topic that I need to address when I am not so mentally drained. I commented today on a Mother Talkers thread that did not used to consider myself a feminist, but now I do. I was asked why I had not before. Have to ponder that one!
