My workplace has become very entertaining. Earlier this week we had the Mystery of the Missing Phone Chord. Last month we had the Mystery of the Scuff Mark. Today we have another bathroom mystery. It’s the middle of the day, the janitors have not come around and wont until after hours. So eliminate that from your realm of possibilities. When I went into the ladies room just now (different stall from the one with the scuff mark), the toilet seat was UP?!! Thoughts?

Hmm, E’s mom does that here. I always find the seat up when she leaves. I asked E about it; he thinks she hovers with the seat up so as not to touch any part of my “nasty toilet.” (it’s really not nasty…they just enjoy tag-team pissing me off.)
So, my answer…a hoverer.

I say cleaning lady. Sprayed the cleaner, wiped it down and didn’t replace the seat. Maybe??

onthecurb – seems odd given we have seat covers and there were still plenty!
radiantreader – nope. Cleaning crew comes around at night and this was around 3:00pm.
