Here is my gift from the Cheers and Jeers Cafe Secret Santa gift exchange. Lizbob drew this herself. Isn’t it stunning? I swear I can feel his jaw line! Oh, yes he is of course Bob the horse! What fun we had tonight. I barely made it in time. I left my desk at 4:45 and even with picking up DS2 I figured I would be home by 5:30 and could take my time getting comfy for our chat time at 6:00. But NO! Traffic was HORRID and I was picking DS2 up at 5:30 and didn’t get home until 5:50. So I ended up standing in my kitchen and chatting while I made dinner and opened my snail mail. Thankfully my package had arrived today. Along with my signed Al Franken book! I am so excited about that one! Anyway, it was so much fun. Giggling abounded of course. We all took turns opening our packages so we were chatting for over 1.5hours. Much silliness ensued between packages of course. I am ever ever ever so thankful that this group came into my life in January. Not only do we share progressive political views (IMPEACH!), but we are all just plain silly and giggly and loving. I believe that Bill in Portland Maine who is our esteemed writer and host of our playground said it best: “I am the Wizard of Odd”
