Pausing from entering JV’s to post. I can’t believe I forgot to do a birthday posting! Ah well, it was a very nice day despite it being the day we returned to work from a nice winter break. I had a conference call from two crazy-assed friends who had me laughing. That was a sweet treat. Someone asked me the other day why I chose to create a blog. I’m not sure! Like I said before, I have never been a writer. Never done a journal or diary. Maybe its being in my 40s now that makes me be more reflective? I feel like I should be documenting things and leaving something for my boys to have someday. Why share it? Well, why not? I have never been a private person. I always people to watch out what you ask me since I will give you an answer! Its rare indeed when I say none of your business. I always figure that is someone can learn from my mistakes, then I’ve spared some heartache and pain, right? Besides, if I know people are occassionally checking in here, then I am more motivated to think of something to share! Either a picture or just babbling 🙂
I do have a couple of things I want to get documented at some point. Heavy topics so watch out! I want to trace out my political journey. How did I switch from simply following my parents political GOP beliefs to forming my own totally opposite path AND becoming so passionate about it?! After that one I will tackle religion.
