Political disclaimer – preamble to Part 2

Seems appropriate given the events of the last two days to continue this train of thought. Since I have shared this blog with people, I want to point out that my political reflections are intended not to send a message to those on the opposite side of the fence, nor am I inviting debate here 🙂 No, this is merely the best venue for me to trace my own history on this issue. Since I have switched parties I am occasionally asked why and depending on the day I would have a different answer! I really wanted to reflect on this more deeply so that I can understand within my own mind and heart exactly WHAT it is I believe and stand for. And, after this recent Supreme Court change over, what I will FIGHT for.
