Short hops (apologies to Dkos and SP)

Got wood? I do! Well, wood laminate anyway Ok, all you pervs get your minds out of the gutter! I am talking about FLOORING :-> In my garage there are now 55 boxes of wood laminate flooring from Costco. Brazilian Cherry or something like that is the color. Yes, this was supposed to be the big home improvement project of 2007, but given that I have already successfully set aside $1300, and the deal with coupon at Costco meant the product only cost $1100, I had to go for it! Don’t know how long it will sit in my garage, but damn its awesome to have it!
Baseball mania began this weekend (hence the short hops!). From now on DS2 has a mid-week and a Sat game for Little League and then a Sunday game for Powerhouse. Reduced time blogging and chatting will occur.
Damn car starting making unplesant noise on Saturday. Why do cars always do that on the weekend? Looks like a trip to the dealer for tomorrow morning.
Everyone is buzzing about the Oscars of course. I watched, but mostly just to see Jon Stewart and to see if George Clooney would win. Then DS2’s damn game ran long and I did not get to turn it on until 5:30. AFTER Jon’s opening monologue and AFTER Clooney won! Grrrr. I have no real opinion on the winners or non-winners since I am always at least five years behind on movies anyway! Just not my thing, and well, there is this working/parenting thing that is more important.
