Weather!

Hail! Pea-sized of course. The first really strong rainstorms of the winter (yes, it IS still winter technically) moved in on San Diego yesterday. It cancelled DS2’s Little League game which is a HUGE bummer to me since he was slated to pitch, and that will now be put off to his Tuesday game and I wont be here to see it. Waaah! Also, I have errands to run all day in preparation for the trip to Nashville for the HEUG conference for work. So far, I have missed the heavy rain while I have been out. So yeah, I am off to YeeHawShitHowdyYa’ll country. Wee. I get into Tennessee at 3:00 tomorrow and return here at 3:00 on Wednesday. Still feeling icky from the cold that hit me earlier in the week. The day at home overdosing on vitamins and airborne though definately has made it a lot weaker.
Just got into a battle with a credit agency on the phone. These morons – Bay Area Credit in case anyone has to deal with them – refuse to send DS1 anything in the way of a statement or info on who assigned the account to them. How dumb is that?? All he got after talking to them about 6 weeks ago was the name of the original vendor. They call every freaking day. As late as 9:30pm some nights. I have now spoken to 2 different operators telling them the same thing. He needs a statement. Isn’t that best business practices? Obviously he will not pay anything without proof that it is his!! I told her that I would give her his mailing address so that they could send out a statement. She said she could not discuss the account with me. I reminded her that I was not asking her to TELL me anything, but OFFERING another way for them to contact him! Morons! I told her that no, I would not give him the message, that she was harassing me, that the phone number she called was to MY house and it was in MY name and that I’d better not see their number on my caller id again until a statement was sent. Argh!! Naturally he is dealing with a couple of agencies over his medical bills, but this is the only one that will not cooperate and refuses to send statements. Umm, the idea is to collect money, right? Aint happening with those techniques.
