Phew!

Ok, I need a weekend to recover from my weekend. And I took Friday off work! Since Thursday DS2 has played in 3 baseball games (won 2 of them), I have had lunch with DS1 and co-signed on a loan for him to pay off his medical bills, I caught up on Powerhouse bills, and had dinner out two nights in a row. Now DS2 has a friend over and I am trying to get this house clean and laundry done. Tomorrow is only a half day at work because it is finally finally finally Opening Day for the Padres. Oh yeah..threat of rain continues though there was none this weekend.

Three highlights – thursday’s Little League game when the team finally broke through and won their first game. Against the first place team no less! HUGE accomplishment for the gang. The next two highlights were the two dinners out. A group of people from Booman Tribune came down to Del Mar for the weekend. Sallycat who I mentioned in an earlier post was here. She is as wonderful as I thought of course! I finally got to meet Alohaleezy. Or Lee 🙂 Oh she is a real treat! So much heart and soul. I am too tired to list it all here, but here is a diary with pics of the gathering over at Bootrib.

Fingers crossed that the rain stays away and DS2 and I have our much anticipated day at the ballpark with our beloved Padres.
