DS2’s clean room and game closet. Woo hoo!
My trunk is currently filled with the games and puzzles taken out of here that date back three years. I will drop them off at the donation center tomorrow. Next up on Thursday will be pics of the ceramic pieces we painted to reward ourselves with this two hour project.
Nice lunch with the parents yesterday. I had to laugh because I ended up spending most of the time fiddling with their cell phones! They’ve had these particular phones since July 2004 (!) and have never setup address books, one touch dialing or voicemail!! Now that my dad is driving a little farther to work again though, he is using it more often. The number pad IS quite small for their eyes so some programmed numbers really will help. There were also voicemails dating back to October on his phone! Too funny. Now he knows how to listen himself. Welcome to this century guys 🙂

They’re ahead of us—-we don’t have address books or 1-touch dialing or anything set up on our cell phones. We do finally have voice mail, but messages can sit for weeks. Those who know us well know 1) don’t call it unless its an emergency or you’re a member of my immediate family and 2) don’t expect that if you leave a voice mail it will ever be heard.
And honestly, I prefer to keep it that way 🙂
