A new link

I added a new favorite web link to the sidebar just now. It is called Swords Crossed and it is an ongoing debate between two prominent political bloggers. Armando is a front page poster at DailyKos so obviously he represents the left 🙂 He is a brilliant writer with strong opinions who backs up his thoughts thoroughly. He can also be a real asshole when he is engaging in comments!! Ok all you Cafe Bobs, altogether now: “It’s 8:41pm pst and Armando is STILL an asshole!”
On the other side you have Josh Trevino from Tacitus and Red State. Another excellent writer and debater. The best part of this joint effort is that they are demanding respect in the comments (so Armando should be under control) and are actively jumping in to respond to readers. While I sure do love hanging out with the liberal bloggers, I really really love to read all sides of things. I usually cannot hang out at RedState for very long without screaming at the monitor though, so this is the best of both worlds for me. The site just opened up this week. So far they are debating immigration and Iraq and its been great reading.

Getting a new work laptop tomorrow. Fingers crossed that I have taken note of all the stuff I need to reload myself!! Fingers also crossed that it does not rain tomorrow please. I am taking the day off to take DS2 to a midweek day game. I’ve upgraded the tickets to a section just off the Padres dugout which should be fabulous – if the weather holds!!
