Still recovering from the craziness of last week. Laundry is done, but floors need cleaning and garden needs weeding badly. Hopefully this weekend.
Meanwhile I am getting other things done.
The car is no longer making that humming noise which started back before I went to Nashville. Apparently I just took it to the wrong dealer the first time! I tried a different Mercedes dealer this week and the car is now fixed after only a day and a half. Nice. Quiet and stable and solid again.
I made a consultation appointment with the lasik surgeon! Yikes! š May 24th.
Tomorrow at lunch I will finish setting up a living trust with an online legal service. I will report back if this has been a good experience or not. It certainly will be cheaper than using a regular live attorney.
It’s nice to cross some things off the To Do list for once!
Both boys are trying out the stage! DS1’s girlfriend is part of a drama group at her Unitarian Universalist church and is directing a production in the fall. DS1 has miraculously earned a couple of parts š Ok, I hint at an inside job here, but DS1 has *always* had talent and an aptitude for the stage in my humble opinion. He has a very good singing voice and certainly can act. So I think he is a natural. But then, I am probably as biased as his girlfriend. He is excited and I am really looking forward to seeing him on stage. Then tonight DS2 tells me that he wants to try out for a singing part in a 4th grade production. He sang the part for me and again, gosh I think he is a natural! Well, c’mon he does have those gorgeous blue eyes and a very very expressive face. Since he has been playing percussion in band he has even gotten some rhythym. I think he would also be great on stage. Anyway, I think it is fun and a nice change of pace for him to do something creative.
