Yes, I am early but I wanted to get the word out!
My mom already gave me a great gift – a free Sunday!! Tomorrow they are driving here for DS2s 11:30 game, luckily DS1 is off work, so we will do our Mothers Day lunch after the game. Which means that my schedule for Sunday is now…blank!! I think that both DS2 and I are going to need that. So I will be up early tomorrow, I have a nail appt at 9:00, then drop off DS2 at his game, then workout and get a card for mom. She already got HERSELF a gift – I just need to give her money 🙂 Then on to the game, then a late lunch.
Oh…here’s a good one though…DS1 is bringing his girlfriend! Now, I don’t mind, but I have to break that one to my mom. Ahem. Should be fun. Hopefully it does not leak out that DS1 has been virtually living with the gf since a couple of weeks ago. Ahem. Anyhoo.
DS1 and gf are staying here with DS2 for me tomorrow night since there is a dinner party for parents only for our Powerhouse team. I will go alone since SP will be off to LA with his mommy for Mothers Day. Should be a nice dinner. Catered by Pamplemousse Grille – a very high end french restaurant nearby. Oooh, la la!
So Sunday is open. If it wasn’t so May gray I would be jumping at the chance to hike the trails at Torrey. Might still do that anyway. It’s been a couple of months since we had the chance.That sure would be the best way to spend Mother’s Day for ME. Either that or else DS2 and I just have a pajama day and watch tv and read all day. That works too 🙂
So Happy Mothers Day to all my mom readers. Happy Mothers Day to the child-free who have pets! Yes, you are mom’s too! And Happy Mothers Day to all of OUR moms. Uh, no – my mom does not read in here (oh my!)

Jasper and Puggles got me a lovely Winnie-the-Pooh watch today, along with a sweet M-Day card. My parents sent a card from the kids too… Yeah, I’m a Mom, through and through.
