Only?

From the Washington Post :

BAGHDAD, Iraq — Three American troops were killed Saturday in fighting in the western province of Anbar, the U.S. military said. They were the first U.S. fatalities reported in Iraq in four days and only the eighth so far this month

Please note the use of the word “only”. Please note the date – July 8th. Apparently the Wapo thinks that one death per day is worthy of an “only”!!??? Let’s see, that brings the total US deaths in Iraq to 2543. How many days have we been in Iraq? Oh yes, just three years. Over 1100 days. That’s 2 per day. So, I guess one a day would qualify as an “only”. Sure. I get it now. Must be that “liberal media” that “never tells the good news about Iraq”, right? They have seen the evil of their ways and are trumpeting the fact that the # of American deaths per day has been cut in half! Whoo hoo!! Aint that some Good News????

Un-freaking-believable. Tell me again how I was a complete Lefty Loon in 2000 when W won the GOP nomination inspiring me to officially switch my party affiliation. Tell me again that I was nuts to be shaking in my shoes knowing 100% in my gut that GWB would find a way to bring us to war with Iraq.
