Flowers and baseball! For some reason, the purple dahlias are really taking off. The orange ones weathered the Florida-like heat wave, while the purples looked like they were going to die. They definately stopped growing and blooming and I had to cut back a lot of stalks while the orange went nuts. Now, the orange looks to finally be done and the purples are looking better than they did before the heat got to them! Also, as part of what Sportsboy and I are calling the Best Baseball Weekend Ever at Petco Park, we saw history on Sunday. Trevor Hoffman notching career save #479 to set a Major League record. Sellout crowd, an emotional ceremony afterwards. It was all good. Today I re-started my training with a little at home workout on the stairs. Just 7 weeks to go!
