I love Fall

This is why:

Gorgeous sunset. The air is crisp. The few trees with turning leaves are getting into gear. I passed a couple on my walk (yes, I walked tonight!) that were getting yellow and orange. The ocean has been gorgeous. There was a south swell last week that attracted all the surfers. I was mad I didn’t have my camera as I drove in to work one morning and the waves were truly littered with wetsuits on surfboards! It’s still warm enough in the daytime for shorts, but now you need a sweatshirt at night.

The play starts tonight – I called DS1 and told him to break a leg 😉 It starts at 8:00 and he said it runs 2 hours so he may try and call me tonight with a report. I am nervous for him!! But I also am excited and cannot wait to see it myself on Saturday.

Here is one of the many reasons to love my man. Today he took my mom to pick up her car from the shop. He’d already made sure they got a great deal on some much needed extensive repairs. Then he took her out to lunch. Of course they ended up talking about me as a child (oh gawd!) I knew they would since he is always asking about those kinds of details. I do love that about him. Well, I love lots about him, but there is one specific thing.
