I think I am done!

I finished my shopping and wrapping tonight. There is the tree now surrounded by packages. I cheated a little 🙂 I usually stock up A’s bookcase at Christmas and I had a little fun wrapping some of the books individually. Hey, it was a great way to use those scraps you always save to wrap just such a small sized gift! Anyhoo, other than candy for the stockings which I will get on the weekend, I am DONE!

Otherwise the blogging well is dry right now. The days are so filled that I haven’t a moment to read much or talk to anyone in the outside world and formulate any non-Christmas thoughs 🙂 Since we will be closed from the 22nd to Jan 2nd, work is rather packed as I try to accomplish everything I would normally do next week. Then home to continue holiday preparations. I may have some down time tomorrow! A’s school Winterfest is Thursday night and then the caroling party is Friday night. I haven’t even had time to read my friend’s blogs this week. Ah well. I love the season despite the lack of time to think. I really love sitting here in my living room surrounded by the winter wonderland atmosphere that I have created. It is so beautiful. And it will all be over all too soon, so I make sure and soak it all in. That’s a little more important to me than playing on blogs this week anyway :->
