Another brain fade

Ok, I am not joking, but I really really did have something float into my head last night that I wanted to write about! **POOF** Sigh…so I feel obligated to fill space anyhow.

I don’t know if it is that I seized the moment and went to Oxnard, if it was the conversations we had there, if it is that M is back working so has a more normal schedule, or a combination of all three, but the ickiness that was plaguing us in December seems to have passed. We’ve been spending more time together – had a couple of relaxed, spontaneous meals out while A was still gone which is all I really wanted him to take the time to do now and then. So I feel like we are reconnected and more in sync again which makes me happy.

Ooh – I must say that I love the new HDTV!! I spent some time Sunday morning reading the manual and figuring out all the buttons on the remote and figured out how to get it properly tuned. BLING! So clear and pretty and just in time for NFL playoff games 🙂

  1. GEEZ – I was thinking as I was reading that “OH — HDTV just before playoff games.”

    I’m glad you’re enjoying that.

    Hmmmmm — I wonder if I could use satellite and an HDTV as a business expense — not to get customers in the shop on Sundays during the playoffs, but to get preparers in. I’ve got quite a few people that are “not available” on Sundays until “After Feb. 4.” I wonder why that is :}

  2. There is nothing like watching football in HDTV. We watched one of the college bowl games, and it was amazing. I’ll admit to loving watching the Rose Parade in hi-def, too. A guilty pleasure.
