No global warming in California!

As everyone knows, I do know there is global warming, I just wish it would come HERE! Not only has it been colder than ever at night since about November, but apparently after the rainstorm that is due to pass through here tonight and tomorrow, another big wind is going to hit and then a full on freeze is expected to take over. Freeze?? In San Diego?? Now, it’s supposed be at least in the 60s in Palm Desert this weekend for the baseball tourney so that is not too bad, but I will certainly have to back the heavy coats. From the weather I just encountered on my afternoon walk here at work – brrrrrrrrrr!!! I had a scarf and the nice lined coat I picked up in Baltimore (August mom gathering 2003) and I was Ok, but still!

I’m excited about the tournament though. All the good teams will be out there. Last year he went to this one with his dad and I heard it was really fun and the hotel was great which is often hit and miss with Powerhouse! The bummer is that we will not be home to watch the Chargers big playoff game, but depending on the game schedule we could still see some of it. I will definitely have my radio on hand to listen. Hopefully the Chargers and the 10 year old Powerhouse team are victorious!
