Sleep is magical

Finally! I managed two pretty good nights of uninterrupted sleep in a row! So things are more peaceful. Oh, plus the cats are actually tolerating each other now. Here they are facing each other and there is no hissing or growling! Now they just rather playfully chase each other. Amber is mostly the instigator and is still much more wacky, but Chip is starting to hold his own with her.

Here he is finally out and about in the house so that I can try to get a picture of him. He is just always going to be more cautious than Amber I think.

So I called a family meeting and informed everyone that we will all have to sacrifice in order for me to pay off my credit accounts. DS1 is on board and promises to give me money from each paycheck towards groceries. DS2 understands there can be NO extras this year. SP understands that he needs to help me sell my car and get a smaller version so that I can release some cash and pay off the smaller accounts right away and funnel THOSE payments to the bigger c/c balances. It’s still a burden on my mind, but with a plan that everyone is supporting, it is better.
Oh! The Big News is that DS1 got a new job. $1.25 more an hour WITH full benefits right away!! WAHOO!!!! Three years at the lube center is so impressive for someone his age, but it was time to move on since they clearly do not take good care of their employees. He is moving on to Henry’s which is locally owned whole foods store. They specialize in organic meats and locally grown produce. He will be in the meat department starting week after next. He is so excited and I am so relieved for him to have medical and dental coverage again.
