Photos from the weekend

Baseball and kitties 🙂 Since DS2 is suffering withdrawals from his electronic devices, I was relieved that we won tickets to Saturday night’s game while attending a pre-game event on Friday night! Opening Night Friday was our 4th straight at Petco Park. First one against the Rockies and the first one the Padres lost 😦 But we had a great time as always. One thing I told DS2 he had to do this week is keep score so that he can learn how to do that. He did a great job of it both nights. Saturday night the Padres one in the bottom of the 9th – IOW, drama and lots of cheering! Then fireworks. It was so nice to spend a weekend downtown. I love that place. In between he helped me give the house a thorough cleaning in preparation for my parent’s and SP coming over Sunday for an Easter luncheon. I also bought him some activity books (sudoku, crossword, and word search) and a book for him to read this coming week. In between that he played with the cats. He took the one of Chip. That is on a stairway landing. Cat’s don’t get red-eye, they get demon eyes! Anyway, he wore them out as you can see from Amber’s contented sleepy-face as she lay in his lap. Right now Chip is passed out on an area rug and Amber is stretched out on my lap with her front paws at the edge of the laptop. She is trying to stay awake and watch me type, but it’s quite a challenge! Contented pooties are just the best!
Spring break week coming up! I will work Monday, but then take the rest of the week off myself. Ds2 will be at his dad’s but attending a baseball camp which lets out at 3:00 so I will get him from there and he will hang with me until his dad can leave work. I have appointments setup for the cats on Tuesday and Wednesday. Snip snip for Chip! Then the next round of shots for Amber. A facial peel for me on Friday 🙂 Hopefully some time just reading on the sofa too! I really need that after this past week of mania.
