Christmas Eve bonfire err, lovely fire in the fireplace with SP providing some kindling while I watched football.
Booty from Santa
Trying out a new game right away while waiting for the family to arrive.
Tree before the ripping starts.
Presents!
MM wears the Santa hat, but SB plays santa and hands out all the gifts. Then we played a rousing round of Cat-opoly. Yes, that is a cat themed monopoly game. You put up litter boxes and fish bones instead of houses and hotels and each cat card (property) that you purchase has a very cool cat fact on the back. Then we ate, cleaned, took a walk, and ate some more. Then everyone scattered, including us! I figured the cats wanted the house back for a bit as they had pretty much been holed up upstairs as soon as my parents arrived. So SB and I went with SP to his house to play with his sister’s dog for awhile since his family is out of town this week. Strangely, we did get hungry again after running around with Max and we had some dumplings there before coming home. SB is already attached to his MP3 player and we have to shout to get his attention 🙂 I think my favorite gift is a pair of framed photos of the cats that SP had made. Of course, he labeled the boxes as being from each cat…but then put the wrong label on the wrong package 🙂 He also promised we would work on getting that bed wish satisfied this year. No matter. It was a lovely day.

Cat-opoly. How cool is that? I’ve never heard of it before.
It looks like it was a very lovely holiday.
