Huckabee for the GOP and Obama for the Dems. I ‘sort of’ predicted Huckabee as I could see his late surge. Obama though – I was not sure if he could hold the surge he clearly gained in early December – looks like he did. Of course, this means very little, but it does set an interesting table leading into New Hampshire. Turnout was high which speaks well for the process overall. Kind of interesting that Huckabee is a former Arkansas Governor from Hope – now, who else do we know with that background who surprised the political world in the early 90’s? πŸ™‚ And no, I could never support The Huckster. On the Dem side the delegate count is still so close. Obama is clearly pulling away, but Clinton and Edwards are only 3 delegates apart. This gives Obama a nice push and proves the enthusiasm he inspires especially among younger voters. Again, I can support either, but..I *have* been flirting with Barack in the last month. Hard to resist that energy!
