Hello movers and shakers!! I don’t have time to call out everyone and put their results in today. It’s been a crazy weekend of baseball for the kids and watching football for the adults. Also taking down outside decorations finally. Today is just gorgeous! I am sorry my dear winter weather friends, but that photo above was taken two hours ago while I watched the Chargers/Colts game at a house in Del Mar. We had all the windows open because the breeze is glorious and the sun is warm and the ocean is blue and….yowza! I’m sure that people surfing on the beach could hear us scream and yell. That was such a fun game to watch. Anyhoo, I am home now with windows open here as well and doing the weekend laundry while I watch the second playoff game. I still cannot believe the Chargers won!!! I think I had 17 heart attacks. I *know* it feels like it is 8:00pm since I was up at 6:00 as SB’s game was at 7:30am!! At least they had the decency to lose with enough time for us all to get home before the kickoff 😉
OK, onto my results for the week. It was a little tougher, but I did get in my time. Not as high as last week though. Avg of 35 mins aerobics over 5 days with 3 really good arm workouts and hula hoop sessions. Last night’s arm routine was killer and I felt a lot of burn. It must be working too ’cause I’ve gained two pounds!! LOL. You know, it’s that old routine of turning fat into muscle which actually weighs more until everything evens out. That’s fine as I was not really doing this to lose weight, but instead to be in better shape which I think I can feel happening. I increased some pedaling sessions by 5 and then 10 minutes and did just fine. My endurance has actually always been iffy and I really want to build that up. So far, so good. I only went on a couple of short, but fast walks this week and did most of my moving indoors which is fine. That’s why I got the machine and I LOVE IT!
So, how did everyone else do? Let’s go ladies. Move move move!!!

Slightly better this week than last (2 miles, not 1) but I’m still not figuring out a way to make the daily walks happen, even when it’s not raining.

I haven’t had a chance to start yet. I have two more radiation treatments left and the cumulative effect has finally caught up with me. I’m too tired. The doctor says that I should feel less tired in about two weeks. I’m going to try and get moving this week though.

suzthorn has a good excuse for not starting yet – me, not so! However, I did think of a goal. My boys start baseball soon. I will be stuck at the ball field a few days a week for their practices. I will walk the loop a few times while they practice, which should take about 30 minutes + or -.

Calvin – that is one of my favorite ways to get a good walk in! Since SB was with his dad I missed out on that this week 😉

Looks like you’re having some gorgeous weather. It’s snowing here. 🙂
I had a good week. I walked 20.22 miles (bringing my yearly total to 33.77 miles). I did two weight workouts. I also did 20-30 minutes of yoga daily.
I’m pretty much right on track except for yesterday when I did nothing at all. I’ve come down with a stomach flu. Blech. I might get in a mile or two today, but I’ll spread it out throughout the day.
