Ack! I almost forgot to put this up!! I’m sitting down after doing a mini-grocery run and I was about to pedal while watching the golf and remembered – it’s Sunday!!
Ok now, I have not heard from some of you and I wont call you out, but again, here is the list of participants. Not everyone has declared a goal yet. I want to be clear since there was some earlier confusion – YOU set you own goals. You do not have to match mine! Look at your life and determine what is possible for you. The idea is to not get discouraged which then leads to quitting so unless you know you already have a pretty strong exercise habit developed, don’t set an unrealistic goal. The idea is to create the habit of moving first. No matter how little. OK, that said here are our participants, let’s hear from you!

My personal goal is to average 30mins aerobic over 5 days and to mix in 3 strength workouts. This week I hit my aerobic goal with a 33 min avg but only have 2 strength workouts. For the second week in a row I had two days with nothing done – but that’s life. I had a really good hand weight workout on Tuesday night when I could feel that my arms are already stronger than when I started. Then I did nothing 🙂 I plan on taking care of that today! I’m taking off work the next two days since SB is off school. The annual end of January ski weekend break (ok, technically I think it is teacher in service or semester break or something like that but basically everyone with money takes off to ski!) Anyhow, if the rain stays away I plan on getting out to hike with him and take some pictures.

OK, I’ll start now. I saw ‘Move 08’ and wondered if it was some election year thingamabob. 😉 Now I know better. Today is Wednesday, and I have to go make dinner. But this week, I will review my new Pilates tape/book set and I will practice/familiarize myself with the exercises in it. At least twice by Saturday.
Do you exercise after eating, out of curiosity? We get home at 6pm, if we’re lucky lately, and I’ve yet to figure out how to fit in exercising with not eating too late at night, cuz I don’t want to do that either. So, guess which has gone by the wayside first?…
