There you have it. Extreme! It actually swings in both directions but it was best for me to take aim on one side. it spins while it swings. Weeeeeeeeeee! I went on it twice with the boys. Then they saved their last ride tickets for one more round on their own. Couple of pics of the boys on other rides. Over two hours of riding with, well, one puke in between. Sportsboy has a weak tummy for spinning and his buddy kind of tricked him onto a rather spinny ride which unsettled his stomach. Then he made the mistake of riding Extreme right after and…he raced off the ride at the end and puked. Poor boo. I got him some cold water and we took it easy for a few minutes and then he was OK. By the time they went on Extreme the last time, he was totally fine.
We lunched in between on the traditional fair dish for us – chili fries. Then back to the rides to spend the last of our tickets. SB and I always end up on the big ferris wheel. Something his buddy would not go on due to a fear of heights. Hey, I went on the dang thing!! I focused on taking pictures though which helped my own issues with high places.
Now we are home and I am going to nap before we head out to the Padres game. Yep, more junk food. Hey, it’s summer!

Fair rides – no way for my crew. They are ride whimps! I have to ride the roller coasters by myself!
The ball game and the summer junk food sound great! Have fun!

“Summer’s here, and the time is right …” for a fair, and some rides, and some serious junk food! ‘Round these parts the county fair is in February, the coolest part of the year.
Yeah, Calvin’s kids are as conservative as she is. Now, the THREE of us would have a blast on those rides. The kids can fend for themselves.
