December reminder to readers (and me!)

For all the love and peace and joy that is supposedly spread with our greetings and cards and gifts this month, there is a monster also lurking underneath. The December Grumpies. Now, I really don’t notice it as much in real life for some reason. However, after 10 years with the August moms, and now nearing the end of the first year with the Dkos Cheers and Jeers Cafe bobs, I have to say – we get crazy in December! Both groups have experienced some tense filled moments with people threatening to or else outright walking away and taking a break. Nerves are frayed, sensitivities heightened, anger is quick. This has happened just about every December with the moms, but we always seem to forget and repeat the cycle. So this it just a reminder to breath, give your internet family some slack and extra patience. Don’t forget all the positive things they have brought to you throughout your time together and walk away because of one stupid remark. The love and respect and loyalty and support are still there.
