Irony

I cannot believe this! I am a full on admitted purse whore and I have credit to my all time favorite store and I have spent one hour searching and not finding a darn thing that I totally love! I have had a Dooney & Bourke obsession for over 15 years. Over that time I have collected..well…too many of their products! So this winter break I decided I needed to clean house. I ended up listing 7 on Ebay. Gosh that was fun!! Two of the items were just little cell phone cases and I could not believe how much people paid for them. Alltogether I sold the 7 Dooney items and on DKNY for $320. Nice. Then I had my two original purses. The first two I ever bought. Sentimental value and all that. But they were too well used and had the brass fob personalized with my initials so I didn’t want to sell them. Instead, I took advantage of Dooney’s replace or refurbish program and I sent them off. I requested since I knew I would not use them again even if they were refurbished. So today I got the vouchers with the credits I could use. I cannot pool them, but the values are enough that I could get a couple of smaller purses or wallets. Shouldn’t be a problem, right? Hah. I have to use the credits in 45 days too so I need to find something. I’ll play around again this weekend I guess. It’s just…ironic!
