Missed opportunity

Either that, or more freaking irony! I never ever never leave the office to go to lunch. Ok, maybe, like 10 times a year tops. Today was the day that people in the office decided was the January birthday lunch outing. I didn’t organize it, so I spaced about it and never mentioned it to SP. Now, he never ever never can go out to lunch with me so it shouldn’t matter that I forgot to mention lunch today, right? It freaking figures that TODAY he shows up un-announced to take me to lunch and I was gone!!! Dammit. I hate it when signals get crossed and opportunity is missed. Grrrrr.. OTOH, I did have a nice lunch 🙂 Bully’s – great french dip sandwich. Even allowed myself a few bites of cheesecake (their b-day treat). Hopefully my tummy wont make me pay for that later. OK, back to work, had to get that off my chest.
