Yes, until I arrive in Vegas, these friends are still only 1s and 0s. Cyber-friends who I have yet to meet in person. However, as my dear August mom friends know, you can grow to love people in this manner, think of them as family, celebrate their triumphs and cry for their losses as if they lived next door to you.
So my dear Sharon, even though I never once buried my face in your Sweet Jasper’s fur, I shed tears tonight for your loss. I know you were prepared. I know you cherished these last weeks with her knowing the end was near. But I know it still hurts. I am so so so so so glad that she crossed over to the Rainbow Bridge in your arms. I am so glad that Jon and Puggles are there with you. Be gentle with yourself. Thank you so much for sharing pictures and stories of her with all of us. See you soon dear friends.

We may be 1s and 0s, but we are a family. I am sending all my love to Sherm and Doggie. I am glad that Jon is there to take care of Sharon. I hope that they can feel my love. I don’t know if I should call or not.
