Vacation week

I know, you would think that since I am simply sitting at home all week I should be able to type up all sorts of fascinating and intelligent posts in here, right? All this time stretching in front of me and all. Hah! I have been doing things. Lots of things. Things that needed doing over the last two months but were ignored. Things like getting the PC back online thanks to a very short phone call to Dell. I love them. Things like organizing my 2006 bills for tax purposes. Things like analyzing my debt load and figuring out how best to relieve it. Things like laundry and house cleaning (ok, so those were really NOT put off for two months). Things like cooking from real recipes! Things like going to the movies (saw Flushed Away on Sunday – s’alright. Going to see Happy Feet tomorrow). Things like trimming overgrown bushes and pulling up some of the damn biggest ragweed stalks I’ve ever seen in my yard! Things like going to my most favorite place on the entire planet with 2 of my most favorite guys on the planet:
We went after lunch so the sun was shimmering on the water and the temperature was perfect. We hiked the Parry Grove and Razor Point trails. I let Alex take a lot of the pictures and create his first photo album. Of course being in what I consider what of the most beautiful spots anywhere made that pretty easy!

  1. Gorgeous…..looks like a fun day!! I’ve been doing many of the same things. We’re changing 401K companies, so this has been a good time to look at our retirement accounts, change some financial things around, etc…
Although as I told DH, as I move our money around, I feel like one of those bald men trying to comb their pitiful hair over the bald head—-no matter how you “arrange” it, you still ain’t got much hair!
