Presents under the tree for me:

1. Some very nice costume jewelry – earrings, bracelet, necklace.
2. A bun warmer – for bread rolls you pervs!!
3. A nice winter white sweater top
4. Really cool bird magnets – I will post a pic seperately of them, they are really sweet!
5. A jewerly organizer/holder
6. To be delivered later this week – a 30″ LCD HDTV with stereo receiver for surround sound.

Gifts received:

1. Seeing the look on the litte guy’s face as he turned the corner on the staircase and saw his ESPN Fast Action Football Game – total jaw drop!
2. Playing a 4 qtr game with him – a complete aerobic workout – seriously! Plus, I won 43-42 on a last second kick off return for a touchdown. HAH!
3. Surprising M with a second gift that he did not expect. Nothing fancy – just a new shower head that he mentioned he wanted, but I am pretty sure he thought the radar detector was all I would get for him.
4. Watching the little guy play Santa and hand out gifts to everyone.
5. The reaction by N when he found out that my new TV means HE gets the old one.
6. Listening to my parents, A, N and GF play Scrabble while I fixed lunch.
7. The oh so needed glass of red wine I poured myself to drink with lunch!
8. The post-lunch turned into dessert conversation with M and my parents.
9. Going to a movie (Night at the Museum) with M and A when it was all over thus bringing back the Christmas movie night tradition that I had with my parents when I was A’s age.

I hope all who read here had an equally wonderful Christmas Day filled with special memories. And if today was not your holiday to celebrate, I hope you had a nice quiet day at home with the family anyway (not like anything but the movies is open today!!) and that your holiday celebrations were filled with love.
