The best picture we could take all night 🙂 She is very curious and wiggly and oh my gosh does she PURRRRR!!! Her original name at the Helen Woodward Animal Center was Shoes. I have re-named her Amber because of the color of her eyes. Yes, I was looking for a short haired male tabby – ahem. Can you see that face? One look at her and DS2 and I were in love. DS1 got off work and barely made it to the center in time, but also took one look and said – “Yeah, that’s our pootie.” So she is currently getting to know DS1’s room. It’s a nice small room with everything she needs, plus he wants her sleeping with him anyway. She is a long haired calico female mix – her hair is not nearly as long as the purebred ones that I had with DS1’s dad 18 years ago. She is 13 weeks old and was just spayed three days ago. She is a bundle of energy! And she talks – I love talking cats. We were so into hanging out with her that we forgot to eat dinner until 8:00! No saying how we will all sleep tonight. Too excited. And in love.
Here she is!
Awwwww, she is adorable. Kinda like her mom, way too cute.
Hugs and Smooches,
Patti

She looks just like Henrietta on Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood. Amber is adorable, and she’s found a wonderful home.
I don’t know if you’re in favor of declawing or not — and I don’t want to start a flame war — but there is new laser technology for this procedure that greatly reduces healing time and pain. I love my Meezers, but I like my furniture, too.
