Do nothing day

Do nothing day is going very well. I know it wont seem like it, but I really do call a day when I just tend to the house as a do nothing day. IOW, I had no plans to GO anywhere or BE with anyone other than they guys. I got to sleep in (as much as the cats would let me) and water the yard and clean the downstairs and lay on the sofa watching tennis. SP arrived and we went to Petco for some kitty litter and then to Henry’s to shop. Ds1 was there as you can see above eagerly waiting to help us 🙂 Actually, we did score with some crab legs and the yummy lobsters again. DS2 has been calling quite a bit today. It’s the last day he will have phone access until the 21st of the month. He leaves tomorrow for a 4 hour train ride across the country to Gothenberg to see his grandma, great grandma and great aunt and uncle. He will have spotty computer access and no long distance phone access while he is there. His dad joins him at some point there as well. So he wanted to talk to me and to DS1 to wish him an early happy birthday. Anyhow, after eating the yummy seafood I think we will watch a movie and nap and maybe walk to get some ice cream and then to watch fireworks from the county fair. Thank heavens it’s the last day of the fair! No more hideous traffic snarls all around me – just the regular ones which are manageable.
