Let me tell you what the cat has done!! As I tried to maintain my focus on humor this zany weekend, it was often the cats who provided it. First, the cats used the spare pack of toilet paper that I had on my powder room floor as a scratching post. I did not notice this until I opened it to take out the first roll – and found gouges all over two rolls! Apparently, that was not enough bathroom fun for them. Oh no. Last night, Amber found my feminine products. I woke up this morning to find little pink individually wrapped packages with teeth marks. Weeee. I remembered to laugh. Really, I did.

The Golden Falcons rolled along to a 3-0 record on Saturday. Not as hot as the first weekend thankfully. Sportsboy had one of those games – he seemed to be everywhere and on the ball constantly. At one point I think he had caught every pass completion – and only one was from OUR quarterback!  2 interceptions – almost 3! He also deflected a couple others on defense. It was a lot of fun to watch him. Apparently superstition starts early too because he says we have to have the same dinner with leftovers that he can have for breakfast before game time again. Vietnamese beef noodle soup, egg rolls, then leftover soup for breakfast with 2 waffles. 🙂 Cute.

Sportsboy was of course, generally goofy and silly and worthy of giggles the whole time. I was often inadvertently the source of laughs. First it was 4 false starts while trying to leave for the Padres game last night. I had come home from the football game just wiped out so I took a nap. Normally that would work out, but for some reason yesterday I just could not shake the post-nap fog from my brain for a couple of hours! Lordy, I was a mess. Then this morning as I was herding us out the door to football picture day and carnival, I notice that I am clutching a tube of Neosporin?? OK. Someday I might understand that one!!

Mostly I am happy that I ordered pizza which was just delivered because I really need to just sit down!
