Yep, that was it. Creamed. Shellacked. Stunned. Outplayed all around by an older team. A true Division 1 squad stacked with 20 2-year players. Meaning lots of 11-12 year olds. We only have 3 12 year olds, a few 11s and mostly 10s and then 3 9 year olds. It showed. Experience matters. They knew how to run their plays in their sleep, their blocking was superb on both sides and they made no mistakes. Oh, it was hard to watch. But, our boys showed heart. Oh, did they ever. They were growling and making tackles until the end. It just was not enough. Now they have seen what they should strive to be. I am so proud of all of them.

And now I have to go back to the scene of the masacre and work the silent auction booth that the team setup to raise money for a travel fund. That we wont use. At least, not THIS year!

Then I am going to see Van Halen. With David Lee Roth! Woo hoo!! (that was a very unenthusiastic woo hoo, but it will be more happy during the concert, I promise).
