Oh, the joys of buying gifts online! Let’s see – I am still waiting on 5 of the 9 Pokemon games and also for Cash Flow. All have been shipped and are guaranteed to arrive before 12/24. That would be nice!!! Every day is Christmas here as there is something delivered just about every day since last week. It’s quite fun to see which one it is. Since those are the Santa gifts, they are the ones I most concerned about. I’ve already blown it on the MP3 players. Did NOT even notice that it says “expected ship date 1/25/08.” Yep, one full month late. However, the battery packs and headphones are here. I already warned Sportsboy that his gift from me would be late. Luckily, he laughed about it. I will just print out the item description and wrap it in a box of course 🙂 Click below for more random holiday updates.
Gift wrap! Oh, more joys! I took the plunge and SB and I wrapped 4 gifts this weekend and put them under the tree. And…they are undamaged as of the moment. That tree desperately needed gifts. It was starting to look lonely. So tomorrow night I will wrap everything else that I have here since he is now with his dad. If the cats play – so be it. One of the benefits of all those years when his school sold gift wrap as a fund raiser is that I have tons. But that tree needs gifts!!
Everyone has been talking about holiday music so much and I love it. But it made me realize that I have hardly listened to any yet! So many wonderful suggestions that I am noting and will download for ’08 on my music player.
Also speaking of music, does anyone know if there is a market for LP’s? As Music Man has worked on cleaning the garage, he unearthed my record collection. Now, I have no need for these as we no longer have a record player so I am more than happy to sell them. Styx, Journey, Springsteen, Adam Ant, The Go Gos, Billy Joel,Tina Turner, U2, just to name a few. Mostly from the late 70s early 80s. Yeah, I know – Ebay! I was overwhelmed though. I guess I should just check with my local shipper to see how much it costs to ship a single LP within the US and then just start listing them. Sounds like another music-related project for my holiday break eh? Download and organize music for the MP3 players, unload some old LP’s 🙂
We did some cookie baking last night. Nothing fancy. All from pre-made packages though I did need to roll the ginger snap dough in sugar and SB did get to decorate some butter cookies. I got into work today and there was the pineapple cheery cobbler that I remembered! The AP department now has a table setup out front of their area with various baked treats on it. I could not resist. Ate two pieces of cobbler and one piece of fudge. I’ll be bringing in some of my cookies to add to their stack. With my Move ’08 project in mind, it looks like I will have *plenty* to move once I eat my way through this week!!!
