Don’t read this while you are hungry! A short, fun read about a washed out NFL player landing on a team in Parma, Italy. A friend of mine who played a different professional sport in Parma read this before me and said it was a perfect depiction of life as an American sports star in Italy. Grisham apparently captured it all. The description of the food and culture was wonderful and I am serious – you cannot be hungry or else you will want to make huge pot of pasta at 11pm!!
