Here we go again

Let’s trace my schedule starting back from this past three day weekend – if you dare:

Sat 5/24 – tournament games rained out. Caught up on treasurer duties for both baseball and football leagues. Finised the book which I reviewed earlier. Bought groceries for the week. Went to Padres game at night.

Sun 5/25 & Mon 5/26. Left house before 9:00am and returned around 7:00pm both nights for tournament games in Temecula (50 mins one way).

Tues 5/27 – Back to work with Pop warner board meeting from 6:30-8:30pm (ooh, a short one!)

Weds 5/28 – LL game at 5:00 until 6:45pm – realize that you don’t have a dress for upcoming Sat night reunion dinner.

Thurs 5/29 – P/U sportsboy after work (who was with his dad the previous two nights but said dad is now out of town for the next week). Home to water plants, clean cat’s litter box and change clothes, back to school for Open House night. Grab dinner at fast food place, milk from grocery, return home at 7:45. Pack weekend bag for sportsboy to be with my parents for the weekend since I have the reunion coming up. Oh yeah, and new person started at work which means no more covering two jobs, but I do have to spend time training.

Fri 5/30 – Drop SB off at school with baseball gear. Coach will take him to practice, grandpa all set to get him from there. Leave overnight bag out front for pick up. Pack clothes for first reunion event at school. Clothes? What clothes? I still need to go upstairs and throw an outfit together!!! Go straight from work to event.

Sat 5/31 – Meet SB and parents at LL game at 10:30am. After game, shop for dress!! Fancy evening reunion event at night.

Sun 6/1 – Meet Jax for brunch to catch up one on one and dish about reunion 🙂 P/U SB from parents and head off to 2:00pm party for travel team (the one that won the tournament) No idea how long that will go. Hold out sliver of hope that groceries can be purchased. Oh yeah, and something about he needs dress shoes for the play??? Speaking of which….

Mon 6/2, Tues 6/3, Thurs 6/4, Fri 6/5 – 6th grade play performances!! 7-9pm. Performers (SB) must be there at 6:00pm. Oh, and they have to eat dinner before of course. He is playing Admiral Von Schreiber in the Sound of Music and his ‘cast’ is on stage Mon & Thurs. The other two nights he has a non-speaking role as a judge. I will be working 7:30-4:30 to give myself a wee bit more time to get him, feed him, return him to school.

So it looks like we have a break Wednesday night right? A night we can just GO HOME and CRASH. Not so fast! Depending on what happens on Saturday’s LL game, he might have to play on Wednesday at 5!! So then we can crash on Sat 6/7? No. Another potential LL game! And a BBQ invitation just landed in the mail for 4:00pm that day.

Yeah, so that should explain why other than one pre-planned post on 6/2, you may not hear anything more out of me other than a one line post until the 8th of June. And even then it may be just a few yelps of exhaustion. But, I shall try try try to take pictures. And then I will tell you about the NEXT week, which also aint exactly slow.
