Perfect Post Award – May 2008

What a cool idea! I heard of this by way of Alex Year Two and I knew right away which post would earn it from me: These Words Are Not Empty by Kayla at The Journey. This post is probably my most favorite ever on the topic of the unexpected joys of blogging. We start out doing this for many different reasons, but I am sure that we have all marveled at how people who were utter strangers previously, and who we still only know in cyberspace, have become as important to us as our real life friends and family. We weep when they weep, send hugs and support instinctively as needed, and celebrate life’s milestones with them. Kayla describes this oh so much better than I could and she is one of those people who’s own story with her daughter has just pulled me in and tugged at my heart. Bravo Kayla – for so many many reasons, but specifically today for writing such a Perfect Post!

The Perfect Post Award is brought to you by Suburban Turmoil and Petroville. Check out past winners on their sites.
