Yes, they are. Click on the photo to see just what we have right now. There is people food on only two shelves of the ‘pantry’ – the others have cat food, Tupperware containers and then bulk paper goods in them. The ‘fridge essentially has containers of leftovers (the one paper plate you see has a note written on it: “MusicMan – Eat This!”), milk, eggs and bread. The staples in life. Oh, and of course some bottles of beer in the door to go along with the usual condiments. This is what it looks like when SportsBoy is not here. After all, who do I cook for? MM feeds himself unless he happens to be home when dinner is cooked and ready – which with his odd work hours is quite rare. SweetPrince comes over for dinner 2-3 times a week, but I don’t always know ahead which those will be. So it’s really just me. You know what I had last night? A peanut butter sandwich and two plums.
Tomorrow though, I go to Dream Dinners for the first time. THEN it wont look so much like a college dorm! OK, well, maybe since I do have eggs and actual leftovers that is an indication that it’s closer to a post-graduate student apartment off campus?
And of course, what kitchen would be complete without the kitty patrol? You never know what you might find behind that refrigerator door!

Consumer Report – get ye a Twitter account! Omigosh is this the coolest tool for on the spot communicating. First off, if you have a blog you can link your tweets (cute eh?) to it for instant updates to all those readers. BUT, if your friends all get accounts and then “follow” you, they can set it up so that your tweets go to their email, or their phone, or you can just keep it on Twitter. I am selective and have set a few of the people I follow to go to my phone. And it has been a HOOT. A couple times now when I was not in a very pleasant mood (what, me? no!) someone’s tweet has buzzed me and made me laugh out loud and start to feel brighter. Last night, as I sat through another football board meeting, I was receiving tweets from Greeblemonkey from the Stevie Wonder concert in Denver! She provided crowd descriptions, the songs as they were being sung, some tender moments between Stevie and his daughter as they sang “You Are So Beautiful” together. It’s been awesome! Just another instant way to stay connected no matter how far away you might be. And you all know how I love new technology 🙂 So, sign up! Follow me at cln0103 and Happy Tweeting!
