But one of my favorites was this one:
Sid and Marty Kroft were the original stoners weren’t they? Think about the shows they created! This one, Lidsville, Sigmund and the Sea Monsters, Land of the Lost, Bugaboos! Their wiki entry says they denied the drug influence claims but…well….you have to wonder!!
I have to thank the morning radio show for inspiring this. They took requests and played all these fun morning shows and those three were the ones that made me smile.

What a great laugh! Can you imagine programming your cell phone with an HR Puffnstuff ringtone? Bwahahaha! I loved that blast from my Saturday mornings past. Of course, if we were watching those shows, we were also eating Pop-Tarts. 😮

There is a pipe shop near us that uses the HR Puff N Stuff jingle for their radio ads. When it plays my husband and I just look at each other and laugh.

Oh my, that was dangerous. I have a propensity towards singing old TV show theme songs (I can remember all the words to the theme of Petticoat Junction, yet I can barely remember my own name at times) whilst on long boring drives. The boyfriend and I are going on a road trip, so now you’ve added some new material to my repertoire.
Oh yeah, and I also totally scared the cat when I started singing along with the chorus of “One Bad Apple.”
