I hope she doesn’t need to get her nails done soon!

Yes, I normally avoid politics here, but this isn’t necessarily all that inflammatory.

Mostly it’s just funny as hell (In my humble opinion) and mockery must ensue.

Here’s an excerpt from the LA times on a big dollar donor fund raising party help for Mitt Romney this weekend. Yes, both candidates will host these events. Yes, it truly sucks that they need to (I hate all the money in politics and how much time ANYONE has to spend begging for donations…anyway…)

A money manager in a green Jeep said it was time for Romney to “up his game and be more reactive.” So far, said the donor (who would not give his name because he said it would hurt his business), Romney has had a “very timid offense.”

A New York City donor a few cars back, who also would not give her name, said Romney needed to do a better job connecting.

“I don’t think the common person is getting it,” she said from the passenger seat of a Range Rover stamped with East Hampton beach permits. “Nobody understands why Obama is hurting them.”

“We’ve got the message,” she added. “But my college kid, the baby sitters, the nails ladies — everybody who’s got the right to vote — they don’t understand what’s going on. I just think if you’re lower income — one, you’re not as educated, two, they don’t understand how it works, they don’t understand how the systems work, they don’t understand the impact.”

Now, yes this woman is anonymously quoted….and yes there are probably WAAAY too many Range Rovers with East Hampton beach permits stamps to make it easy enough to identify her. BUT…..I somehow suspect that in what is most like a very small community she is easily identifiable to those who know her.

I’m not sure her college kid is feeling all that great about what mom just said.

And I *know* that any nail salon in her geographical circle would not be thrilled either.

I hope her cuticles are in GREAT shape and will be at least until this latest news cycle blows over!!

But then again…what do I know…I’m just a common person. Lower income than her certainly. Not as educated I guess because I just don’t understand how the system works. I don’t understand how Obama is hurting me. It’s such a shame that with all my lack of income and education and understanding that I still have the right to vote. Because we common people screw it up all the time. Sigh……

She’s being referred to as “Madame Range Rover”  HAH!

I’m totally picturing Lovey Howell aren’t you? Faux accent, perfectly coiffed hair, pearls…oh, the pearls!!

Really – could they have SCRIPTED this woman any better?!!
