Yes, that really is a line from a song of hers. As those who know me will understand, it is yet another example of her writing being so damn perfect for me! Now, in the interest of full disclosure, here is the full stanza, but the line above is actually sung totally on it’s own with a pause before she continues the thought. It’s from the song ‘unsent’ which she wrote as letters to all her ex beau’s at the time (think it was 1999).

dear marcus you rocked my world you had a charismatic way about you with the women and you got me seriously thinking about spirituality and you wouldn’t let me get away with kicking my own ass but I could never really feel

and it’s kinda too bad because we could’ve had much more fun

And that is my only intelligent thought for the day. It’s a busy Monday at work where I am covering two jobs until the 26^th when I will start training the new person I hired last week. Actually, she is transferring over from another department which means she already knows Peoplesoft!! Weeeee!!! Meanwhile, I scramble quite a lot. It’s also a *huge* week for SportsBoy with football since they won the game Saturday. There is a practice tonight from 6-8 and then they play the semi-final game against the only undefeated team tomorrow night at 6:00. Oh, at *home* again!! Fabulous! If they win that one…well..nevermind, let’s just focus all attention and energy on tomorrow night.
