Have you ever had one of those days? (with catcher pics)

You know – a Friday after a long assed week of tying to juggle more balls than one human should – and you are sitting at your desk at work right after lunch and thinking “I am done!” But you can’t mentally check out just YET because it’s the 15th which is a deadline day and you really really need to buckle down. I mean, bad enough that there’s a task that is pretty dang complicated and tests all your powers of concentration (IOW, no ADD like flipping through tabs on your web browser!) and takes at least 2-3 hours but to have it hit on a Friday on a week like this? When the morning was eaten up with administrative spot fires? Yep, that was today for me.  By the time I did lift my head up to see what was going on around me, nearly everyone in my area was GONE. So I seethed with jealousy of course! I was a Good Girl and stayed until 5pm, but man it was hard!

Thankfully yesterday was pretty dang productive and I got a lot of nagging tasks off my to do list so I think once I get past tomorrow’s usual saturday mania of working out and little league and a nail appt and taking MM to and fro, Sunday should be blissfully free.
