Yes, I know that when the Chinese New Year hits, it will really be the Year of the Tiger (Amber is all dressed and ready for THAT!) but for me it will the Year of the Book. A personal challenge to read one book a week. 52 for the year. I’ll list them here when I am done with them. Since my first task is to get through the unread ones in the house – many dating back close to 8 years ago! – it will be an odd mix. After that I am going to get back into Goodreads and check out what my voracious reader friends have been listing.
I have to make use of that lovely reading corner I just created in my room after all 🙂
great idea! good luck.
Much luck to you! With the help of my new Kindle (a gift from my three kids), I should be reading a lot more this year than in the past. It’s so easy to take with me and adjust the size of the text for my failing eyes!
I’m on my second book in a week! Yay!
you definitely DO need to use that reading corner! This sounds like a good challenge.
Wishing you lots of luck and good reading!
I’m shooting for the usual 50. Last year I had a pretty poor showing (only 28 books, I think). I hope to do better this year.
A book a week… that’s an interesting idea. I could shoot for a book every 2 weeks, I think. That’s actually a good goal, especially since I’m just getting back into reading. I do love it, but I also must commit to doing it. So, thank you… I will…
