I can totally relate to Garfield. Not about raisins – for me, it’s mushrooms. And for some reason recently I’ve encountered way too many of them in my food! The taste/feel of them in my mouth literally makes me want to spit them out like the image above. Why why WHY are they in so many frozen lunches for instance? Especially the “lite” ones such as Lean Cuisine or Healthy Choice or the Vons/Safeway brand of healthier lunches? I know, I know – because they are HEALTHY you say! Probably too because they are good, cheap, (supposedly) healthy filler and can be included in the veggie count. Well, I don’t care! I think they should be categorized for what they are – fungii – and left OUT of my food thank you very much.
