Good thing my man is back

Having caught up with each other last night and through lunch today, my man took off to spend the day with his mom and dad in LA. I stayed back since they will be out late tonight and I DO have to go to work tomorrow so it would not have been a good idea. So what do I do? Well, I take a nap of course, watch the Padres lose a tight game in Philly, read, nap again, finish up the yardwork I started in the morning (too damn hot to work through the middle of the day), then get myself wrapped into some movies. Wedding Date and then Indecent Proposal. Yeah, good thing he is back in town or else I think I would be bawling my eyes out right now!! I had never seen Indecent Proposal. What a great movie! Now I am watching Monster in Law. Hahahaha! Quite the contrast. No fireworks for me – clouds have been rolling in and it is hell around here trying to get back home once you find a spot to watch them. So I will just hear all the booms – yep, there they go! Happy Independence Day!
