Yes, I’m copying the format above. Yes, they are talking about the same Eric Massa that I wrote about on my politics site.Yes, this routine is damn funny. Yes, I hope it ends up being the Final Word on the whole sordid affair.
So let’s talk about an entirely different sordid affair, shall we?

From MSNBC & People.com – a quote:
Speaking on ABC’s “The View
,” co-host Barbara Walters said she had talked to Hunter, 45, on Monday morning, and that Hunter had “cried for two hours” upon seeing the images and deemed them “repulsive.”
Hunter trusted the photographer, Mark Seliger, to take classy photos, according to Walters. But several of them show Hunter lounging around in only a collared white dress shirt
and no pants. “I went with the flow,” Walters quoted Hunter as saying.
Really Rielle? Really? You posed in just a white shirt on a bed, on your knees and expected them to be “classy?” There’s another photo of her still just in that same shirt and still on the bed, minus the innocent looking stuffed animals but with a LOT of leg showing. I’m sure the white bedding and white shirt and white pearls were menat to convey “class” and not an illusion of innocence and virginity right? Coming from the mistress of a man with whom you’ve had a child and who’s wife is dying of cancer it all sounds both oh so *innocent* AND *classy*!! (Not).
So reading about her being upset about the photos which sounded so damn disingenuous to me, well then even though I really couldn’t give two hoots about her or the Edward’s drama, I was then curious to see if this gal is as naive as she seemed about the photos.
Oh yes – she is:
When did Johnny start to tell you that there were problems in his marriage?
Well, I was aware of it from the get-go. He doesn’t lie to me.
Really, Rielle, really? Because we all know that men ONLY lie to their WIVES when in an affair. They would never lie to the MISTRESS would they? Because that’s DIFFERENT!
That rant would be so much funnier if she didn’t go on in the follow up question to pretty say exactly that. I wont copy all that in here as it’s too long, but essentially she blames Elizabeth for Johnny’s (ew, Johnny?!) need to lie & states that lies/affairs only happen in wrecked marriages, that the marriage was wrecked well before she came into the picture and was was “not a Home Wrecker.” Yeah, so much is so wrong there.
I do like the interviewer’s (Lisa Depaulo) follow up question because it’s pretty much what I was thinking as I read all that:
So you have enough of a bond with him that, even though you know he’s lied to his wife and his state and the country, you really never worry that he will lie to you?
No. He does not lie to me. At all
Hah! Moving on. I wonder if Rielle thinks her little Johnny had any role in the wrecking of this marriage himself?:
He has no fear that I’m going to abuse him. And I believe what happened in his marriage is, he could not go to his wife and say, “We have an issue.” Because he would be pummeled. So he had a huge fear. Most of his mistakes or errors in judgment were because of his fear of the wrath of Elizabeth. He’s allowed himself to be pushed into a lot of things that he wouldn’t normally do because of Elizabeth’s story line. And the spin that she wants to put out there. He was emasculated. And you know, the wrath of Elizabeth is a mighty wrath.
Really Rielle, really? The wrath of Elizabeth is a mighty wrath? That’s what you are going with? Trashing your cheating boyfriend’s wife? Because it’s all HER fault? It has nothing to do with Johnny being a lying sleaze who was flattered by the obvious attentions of a hot blonde woman 10 years HIS junior while his older, terminally ill wife couldn’t *quite* compare at that moment, does it?
Yes, later in the piece (oh do read it all, it’s train wreck fascinating) – she says the Johnny shares the blame in all this but she says it wrapped around accusations of abuse that *he* suffered and refers to him as a victim.
I just really do have to wonder how she could be MY age and be THIS wide eyed & blatantly naive about things live posing for pictures and having an affair (and a baby) with a married man in the public eye?
She believes they will be in love forever, that it is unconditional and that he will be a great father to their daughter.
Really, Rielle, really? Let’s check in with you in 10 years eh? Because I am oh so sure he would not have taken up anyone else. I’m sure he will resist all temptation when the next beautiful young lady tells him she thinks he’s hot.
(This rather unusual rant brought to you by Daylight Savings Time when Springing Forward turns everyone into a cranky tired hot mess)
Maybe she’s naive, or maybe she’s lying too.

LOL at the pearl necklace…there’s so many things I could do with that but won’t.
However, two words for Ms. Hunter: Bitch please!

I think the conversation on The View about this is the only time I’ve agreed with Elisabeth Hasselback. Leave Elmo and Dora out of your perversion!
